Hola a todos! Ya estamos en el año nuevo, espero que lo que nos queda lo curso lo aprovechemos bien y sigamos aprendiendo muchas cosas.

Hello somos Lola y Luis, os vamos ha hablar del rascacielos más alto del mundo: el Empire State.

The Empire State Building is a skyscraper located in the city of New York. Its name derives from th nickname of State of New York. The Empire State building has been named by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of the Seven Wonders of the modern world.


El edificio Empire State es un rascacielos situado en la ciudad de Nueva York. Su nombre deriva del apodo del Estado de Nueva York.
El edificio Empire State ha sido nombrado por la Sociedad Americana de Ingenieros Civiles como una de las Siete Maravillas del mundo moderno.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

La clase de 6º, os desea a todos "MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR".

Londres siempre merece la pena, en navidad tambien.

En Navidad, UK, también tiene comidas deliciosas tradicionales.

Otra tradición o constumbre Navideña es regalar durante la cena un Cracker. Es un regalo con sorpresas dentro.

Para terminar nuestro tema de inglés, estamos preparando un "project" que consiste en recoger recetas de comida típica de REINO UNIDO, intentaremos entre todos hacer como un pequeño recetario, esperando que nos sirva para aprender un poco más sobre la cultura culinaria de otros paises y por que no hacer alguna de estas riquísimas recetas en casa.
Hay muchas comidas típicas de UK deliciosas, como por ejemplo: El Scone, Roast Beef, Simnel Cake...

Hola soy Lola, yo he buscado un dulce típico llamado Scone. Se elabora con harina de trigo, mantequilla y levadura. Se suele servir templado y abierto por la mitad.

It is a food very common in breakfasts. Scone is sweet and ofen contains grapes happens, cheese or dates.

Hola soy Reyes y yo también he buscado una receta se llama Simnel cake. It is a tart that is done by fruits and dried fruits. It makes up with marzipan and with small eggs, chicks and other typical springs adornments and Easte, and with 11 little bolls of marzipan.











Hola soy Dani y he hecho el trabajo sobre el Eton Mess un postre hecho de fresas y nata que se sirve frío.

Ingredients: Meringue, strawberries,cream and sugar.


Hola. Soy Luis, y os voy a dar datos sobre una comida típica: el Roast Beef.

Hola soy Alejandro, os voy a proponer una receta para hacer estas Navidades. Se llama Crumbles.
Consiste en una base de fruta azucarada, galletas molidas y natillas.
Consists of a sweetened fruit with a crispy crust-like cookie. When served on individual plates, this crust is crumbs, mixed with fruit and custard.

BONFIRE NIGHT 2010

Hola a todos, seguimos trabajando en nuestro blog de inglés para que veais lo que han hecho los alumnos de 6º de primaria sobre la tradición inglesa de celebrar "BONFIRE NIGHT" .

El 5 de noviembre se celebra Bonfire Night, la Noche de las Hogueras, hay fuegos artificiales en toda gran Bretaña conmemorando un hecho histórico.

Corría el año 1605 y los católicos esperaban que el nuevo rey James I fuera algo más comprensivo con los católicos, básicamente que les dejara vivir en paz.

Pero como no fué así , un grupito de exaltados planeó volar el parlamento con el rey dentro,alguien dió el chivatazo,y las autoridades encontraron a Guy Fawkes con 35 barriles de pólvora.

Le arrestaron, le torturaron y como no quiso decir quienes eran sus cómplices le mataron.

Desde entonces se quema a un muñeco que representa a Guy Fawkes y tiran cohetes en su recuerdo.

On 5th november in the U K , they celebrate Bonfire Night.They make a bonefire and when they make a guy to put on top of the bonfire.When it´s dark, they stand near the bonefire and watch fireworks.They eat hot dog and baked potatoes.

Hola a todos.Como sabeis durante esta semana hemos estado trabajando y preparando distintas actividades para celebrar "HALLOWEEN" en nuestro colegio.Con este tipo de actividades, pretendemos conocer aspectos culturales,tradiciones,ampliar nuestro vocabulario en un idioma extrajero y como no, pasar un rato agradable.

Todo el centro ha colaborado y participado en las distintas actividades propuestas como han sido el monaje de murales con los dibujos de los niños,adornar el colegio con motivos típicos de la fiesta,venir disfrazados y salir al nuestro escenario para cantar y representar canciones de la fiesta de halloween.

Desde aquí dar las gracias a todos por vuestra colaboración y participación y "HAPPY HALLOWEEN"
